Ok, one of the servers at our school is just there to make sure that the other ones in the district are running smoothly. We realized that it must be connected to every server, which are connected to every computer. I opened up command prompt and just changed the server my computer was using to the central one. (Z:\ on most school networks) I then used the trusty net send command (z:\net send * BOO) to send a message to EVERYONE that was connected to the network. Everyone that had a PC that was connected to the network (around 100 people) go a little message that said BOO!. We also learned that you can run programs remotely from the command prompt as well. I downloaded a joke program that just opens the CD-rom drive. Well, to make a pretty long story short, we had every computer remotely run that program. So once again, everyone that was connected to the network had their CD rom drive open at the same time.
